After my last post from Sunday,I went to the couch for some lazy Sunday afternoon reading. The magazine I read was Home Life and it had an article of devotions to do with your children during the month. The first week's verse to learn is "And be kind and compassionate to one another" and it also had some great quotes on kindness which I"m going to share:
Carve your name on hearts, not on marble - Charles Spurgeon
Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see - Mark Twain
The last one you have probably heard through an email going around:
A college professor added a bonus question to the test: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Later the professor explains, "In your careers, you will meet many people. All of them are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say hello."
I thought is was a good follow up to encourage myself to be kinder to everyone this week!
