Show and Tell Friday



Here is my favorite Easter wreath! It is a bit old and worn, but I have great memories attached to it. Years ago an aunt who lives far away came to our area. It had been years since we had seen her. We enjoyed a quick visit with her and toured a state park in our area. At the gift shop we browsed and saw this Easter wreath. I was a newly married woman and could not afford things like this, but I really liked it. My aunt bought one for her and one for her daughter. The next day when she left, she gave me one of them as a gift. It was a beautiful surprise and very thoughtful deed that I have never forgotten.

    it is about that time isn't it? i just saw my RISEN JESUS decoration downstairs yesterday...i am so excited to get Him out on Easter!

    Amazing!!! You know I've been making wreaths for our home here since I've given most of mine away in the past. Now this one is sooooooo, so sweet looking!! I think I'll have to make one myself.

    i never really decorate much for any holiday except for christmas, but that wreath is cute and would like nice on any front door

WFW – Write It On My Heart

This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel       after that time, declares the Lord.    I will put My laws in their minds       and write them on their hearts.    I will be their God,       and they will be My people.  Hebrews 8:10 On a recent field trip to a museum featuring the days gone by, we sat in an old schoolroom as the teacher introduced us to the quill pen and bottle of ink.  She cautioned us to use extreme caution using the ink and told us that if it got on our skin or clothes, it would not come off.
