More Hog News

This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home....One of our sons pig did not weigh enough to enter the fair, so he got sent back home. Big disappointment for oldest son. The other son's pig made it in fine. Here are a few shots of their day:

    recognized the ffa jacked immediately. i have to admitt that i am a former ffa-er. although being a bit of a town kid, i stuck to the leadership aspects of the program. i was even a distric president at one point. i know, i know...i'm very cool like that:0)

    I vaguely remember in the book "Charlotte's Web" that they bathed Wilbur in milk. Do they really do that? I can imagine they would prefer a bubble bath! :)

Our family is in the midst of little league soccer season. My youngest son is playing and his enthusiasm is contagious. He is pretty good at the sport, but what makes it so great is that he loves it! WFW – Write It On My Heart

This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel       after that time, declares the Lord.    I will put My laws in their minds       and write them on their hearts.    I will be their God,       and they will be My people.  Hebrews 8:10 On a recent field trip to a museum featuring the days gone by, we sat in an old schoolroom as the teacher introduced us to the quill pen and bottle of ink.  She cautioned us to use extreme caution using the ink and told us that if it got on our skin or clothes, it would not come off.
