The eyes of all look expectantly to You,
And You give them their food in due season.
You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing. Psalms 145:15
I love the promise of this verse that as we gaze expectantly to the Lord, in His hand, He alone holds the power to satisfy our every desire. This is not a “give me” type of attitude, but a realization that He holds all that we need and all we need to do is to seek Him. For He is the All Sufficient One.
I love the photo and the reminder that He is our all and more.
ReplyDeleteWe need to keep those eyes of ours "fixed." It's the distractions of life that cause us to turn away...

ReplyDeleteNice photo and scripture. I live on an island and so love the beach! Tonight my heart is heavy in prayer about the oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. The first oil washed ashore today. I pray that the Lord will have mercy.
ReplyDeleteFor "doers" like me, learning to be receptive has been a challenge. But God wants to fulfill our needs. A wonderful verse!
