One of the joys of summer in our area is being able to pick fresh blueberries. These are nutritious, delicious and one of my summer traditions it to pick fresh blueberries.
I especially like it when the bushes are loaded:

Some great things to do with blueberries are:
Put them in cereal.
Layer vanilla yogurt, berries, nuts or granola for a nutritious parfait.
Sprinkle them on salads.
Cook them with a little sugar for toppings for pancakes or waffles.

WoooooHooooo! I LOVE blueberries...we need to go pick some ourselves as well. I think I had 10 quarts last year, which was not enough by far. So yummy and so GOOD for you at the same time, gotta love that! Are these your bushes?

We have just planted some blueberry bushes this year so maybe next year we will get some....we order from out of state and I still have some in the freezer from last year...they are GOOD!!! Have a blessed day!
