Word Filled Wednesday

WFWlogo

The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.”  Isaiah 40:8

002

We hear so often about the power of reading, meditating, hearing and acting upon God’s Word.  Why is it so important?  This verse gives a powerful reminder that although things as basic as grass and as beautiful as flowers wither and fade, the Word of God will stand forever.  We can depend upon it’s truth and securely follow the path it leads.

During the summer it is sometimes easy to neglect daily reading the Bible.  May we be encouraged to continue on, making a devotion a part of our daily schedule. There is nothing more important or powerful!

  4. So right you are - I am beating myself up all the time for not paying attention to the One who gives me breath. Oh that He would be alive in me every moment of my days.
