How precious also are Your thoughts to me. . . .How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. —Psalm 139:17–18
When was the last time you spent a few minutes thinking about how you could better understand and demonstrate love to your spouse? What immediate need can you meet? What's the next event you could be preparing for? Great marriages come from great thinking. Being thoughtful takes a little bit of preparation and effort, but brings a smile to the heart to the giver and says I Love You loudly to the receiver!
It's easy when you are super busy with life to not put any extra thoughts towards your spouse, other than if he has clean sox and if you have the ingredients for his favorite meal. I loved this line, "Great marriages come from great thinking." Thinking about that one!
ReplyDeleteJust wondering....did you buy your sweetie anything special yesterday? I brought home some Funky Chunky Pretzels:) Hubbie does LOVE his tv snacks in the evening and these chocolate/caramel coated pretzels were a treat!
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying this series:) and like MommaMindy I was caught by that line about great marriages come from great thinking!
