It’s Almost Show Time

It’s almost time for the local county fair!  Two of my boys will be showing pigs at the fair.  We have had our ‘babies’ since December, feeding and caring for them while they grow and get ready to be shown.
Now the boys are working on training them to walk around and getting them brushed up and looking pretty!

    All I can say is "Oink, Oink!!" Looks like they have done a great job of raising them.....I'm sure they will also do a great job of showing them!

    Oh I hope they have a grand time at the fair. I truly have no comprehension of raising a pig..and into a show animal at that!!:) I really enjoy getting a glimpse of it through your blog!

WFW – Write It On My Heart

This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel       after that time, declares the Lord.    I will put My laws in their minds       and write them on their hearts.    I will be their God,       and they will be My people.  Hebrews 8:10 On a recent field trip to a museum featuring the days gone by, we sat in an old schoolroom as the teacher introduced us to the quill pen and bottle of ink.  She cautioned us to use extreme caution using the ink and told us that if it got on our skin or clothes, it would not come off.
